If there are maintenance issues with Volume it might be a good idea to do a "lite" version which just has the simple volume control and loads alsamixer-gui and/or pavucontrol for the more complicated stuff.
Thu, 15 Oct 2009 12:23:20 +0000 Tony Houghton comment 15688 at http://localhost/desktop Re: can't launch http://localhost/desktop/node/31#comment-15687
For some reason Zero Install couldn't find ROX-CLib. In the case of within a filer window, the relevant Help menu entry can be found in the "App dir '<whatever>'" sub-menu, since the Help entry in the first pop-up menu opens a sub-menu of help items relevant to the filer itself. A bit confusing, isn't it ?
Tue, 15 Sep 2009 22:55:16 +0000 jpotts comment 15685 at http://localhost/desktop Openbox http://localhost/desktop/ROX-Session#comment-15684
I got ROX-Session to launch Openbox by typing "openbox-session" at the prompt for a window manager to select, where openbox was missing from the pull-down list. That worked, and now "openbox-session" is and remains in that list.
I wonder why ROX would not find Openbox by itself, since i have an "openbox" bash file in my /etc/X11/Sessions (which launches /usr/bin/openbox-session)
Mon, 14 Sep 2009 20:16:18 +0000 jpotts comment 15684 at http://localhost/desktop I Don't Know if Denis Will Read This http://localhost/desktop/node/320#comment-15683
I don't know if Denis Tomas is likely to read this, but I'm really missing this applet :(
Wed, 05 Aug 2009 17:30:50 +0000 Mark Williams comment 15683 at http://localhost/desktop The service now requires a product key http://localhost/desktop/node/320#comment-15682
See http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.desktop.rox.user/9107/focus=9113
Sat, 11 Jul 2009 09:01:16 +0000 Thomas Leonard comment 15682 at http://localhost/desktop Weather Stopped Working http://localhost/desktop/node/320#comment-15681
It seems to have happened after a recent update to Ubuntu.

Is there anything in Ubuntu that might affect it?
Wed, 08 Jul 2009 16:44:54 +0000 Mark Williams comment 15681 at http://localhost/desktop I tried running the updated http://localhost/desktop/TaskTray#comment-15680
I tried running the updated version and got this error

ImportError: /home/mark/.cache/0install.net/implementations/sha1new=5d5751a74f1108c7373a7095d7be8e54fcfeb528/lib/python2.4/site-packages/gtk-2.0/wnck.so: undefined symbol: Py_InitModule4
Sun, 14 Jun 2009 18:37:18 +0000 Mark Williams comment 15680 at http://localhost/desktop
