Installing from source

Download these two archives (the links lead to a list of versions):

• rox-VERSION.tgz
• shared-mime-info-VERSION.tar.gz

Extract the rox.tgz archive and run the install.sh script inside. The filer will be compiled and you'll be asked where you want to install it.

$ tar xzf rox-2.3.tgz
$ cd rox-2.3
$ ./install.sh

Install the rest of the system as for Red Hat.

You'll need a compiler, and header files for all the libraries.
