ROX-CLib

ROX-CLib contains shared code which can be used by other ROX applications. It does not require root access to install, but does not need to be compiled (it's written in C).

It provides interfaces to the Choices system, Drag-and-drop loading and saving, remote operation via SOAP, and others.

Gtk+-1.2 version

This is the current stable version. You can happily run Gtk+-1.2 applications with the Gtk+-2.0 versions of ROX-Filer.

To use this version you will need:

• Gtk+-1.2.x
• libxml2 2.4.x

Download

ROX-CLib is currently hosted at www.kerofin.demon.co.uk.

Installation

Extract the `rox-clib' archive and drag it into one of the following directories:

• ~/lib (create 'lib' in your home directory first if needed)
• /usr/local/lib
• /usr/lib

Double click on it in its new location to compile it.

Gtk+-2.0 version (new)

This is the new development version which will become version 2.0. The current release, 1.1.1, is available at www.kerofin.demon.co.uk. Installation is the same as the stable version.
