This is a bug-fix release, fixing translation problems in non-UTF-8 locales, a segfault on the x86_64 platform and some other issues. The Chinese translations were updated. The old install script is gone.

RAWThumbnail is a ROX-Filer helper to generate thumbnails for the Digital RAW files coming from digital cameras. It needs the external application dcraw (or ufraw or other RAW converters which install dcraw) to work. RAWThumbnail takes also care of the orientation of the picture if the external application exiv2 is present.

Initial release.

The panel configuration interface has been reworked to allow for easier adding, removing and editing of panels. A new log window records file actions for reference. Support for using GNOME icon themes was improved. Various bugs were fixed.

Earlier this month, Owen Taylor announced Reinteract ("a system for interactive experimentation with python"). I've been wanting something like this for a while now.

In this article, we're going to turn it into a ROX application. In the past, this has meant taking a copy of a program and renaming and changing things to fit the ROX application structure. The trouble is, the ROX version and the original upstream version diverge over time. So, we're going to look at how improvements in tooling can make things easier for us.

Options box widgets can be set to expand. A bug which could cause a crash when displaying the options box was fixed. The SaveBox constructor now accepts a parent. An icon scaling bug was fixed.

SourceForge.net has provided us with excellent service over the years considering the charge (free!), but it's often very slow to respond now (see this thread). Therefore, I'm experimenting with paid hosting. Please try it out and see what you think!
