Note: if system tools isn't installed then this is the error you get:
That could be made a bit more friendly ;-) Also, the XDG_DATA_DIR rule looks odd - shouldn't it search XDG_DATA_DIRS rather than only ever checking the first path?
system-tools-backends
system-tools-backends is installed in /usr/local/bin
I still get the message "you need to have system-tools-backends installed tu run this application"...
Why?
