Appearance is a configlet that allows you to control the look of your desktop. (This software replaces the LookAndFeel, Theme and Toolbars&Menus configlets.)

It supports setting the GTK (UI controls) and Icon themes.
It also allows the setting of certain Toolbar and Menu options.

You need to be running ROX-Session as your session manager for this to work.

Adding Themes

I found a RISC OS theme for GTK, but even though I added it to my themes folder it doesn't show up in Appearance's list of installable themes. I suspect it's because Appearance is only looking for GTK2 themes and this is GTK1.

Is there anything I can do about it?

You'll need a GTK 2 theme. Nothing uses GTK 1 these days...
