Menu
Submitted by KenHayber on Sat, 2005-12-31 15:17Menu provides a start menu for all your ROX applications on the ROX panel.
It will examine the directory containing your ROX applications (default ~/Apps), recursively reading all subdirectories, and build a matching menu tree. It will then display an icon on the panel. Click on the icon to access the menu.

VideoThumbnail
Submitted by kerofin on Fri, 2005-12-30 16:01This is a helper program for ROX-Filer. It provides images for video files.
Note: you need at least version 2.1.1 of ROX-Filer and 2.0.4 of ROX-Lib2
To set it up install it to a suitable place, such as ~/Apps, then run it normally. You should get the options window. Click on Install handlers and then OK on the list window that appears.
Fetch
Submitted by kerofin on Fri, 2005-12-30 15:58This program acts as a download handler for ROX-Filer, fetching files dropped from web browsers.
When a link is dragged from a web browser or similar program to a filer window ROX-Filer calls a user-defined download handler to fetch the object named by the link.
The download handler is defined in the ROX-Filer options, Drag and Drop section.
Running Fetch directly will open up its options.
Optionally you can also install DownloadManager to allow multiple instances of Fetch to co-operate.

Find
Submitted by KenHayber on Thu, 2005-12-29 22:35Find is a graphical front-end to the find and grep utilities.
It searches for specific text in a specified group of files or directories and shows the location of each instance of the found text. Each result can then be selected and either a) open a ROX Filer window showing the file, or b) open the file in a text editor and jump to the location of the found text.
This tends to be very useful for developers.
