Memo
Submitted by Thomas Leonard on Sat, 2006-01-07 13:08Memo is a small utility which you can use to store appointments and 'TODO' items. It displays the next few entries in a small window, and can also be instructed to bring up alert windows at set times.
If you have a D-BUS notification service available then it will use that to display alerts. Otherwise, it will use a built-in dialog box.
Keyboard
Submitted by Thomas Leonard on Sat, 2006-01-07 13:06This configuration tool lets you configure keyboard settings, including
the keyboard layout, key repeat, cursor blinking, and keybindings.
You need to be running ROX-Session as your session manager for this to work.

MIME-Editor
Submitted by Thomas Leonard on Thu, 2006-01-05 20:05The Shared MIME Database stores information about file types. It holds information such as "Files with names ending in .html have the MIME type text/html" and "A text/html file should be described as an `HTML Page'".
Normally, you shouldn't need to edit this database, but if you do you can use MIME-Editor for the task.

ROX-Session
Submitted by KenHayber on Sun, 2006-01-01 02:50ROX-Session is a simple session manager. It loads, runs any programs you asked it to, and then quits when you run it a second time (thus ending your session). It does not display any windows until you ask it to quit.
The first time you run it it will offer to make itself your session manager, so that you'll get a ROX desktop when you log in (see screenshots below).
ROX-Session will automatically run any programs in your AutoStart directory when you log in. You can open this directory by bringing up the menu over ROX-Session's icon and choosing Auto Start....

It will launch your email client application if you click on it.
If a folder is empty it is not listed.
If any folder has unseen mail, the icon changes.
It will optionally play a sound when new mail arrives.
